Design and Service

Can you help me design a Residential Sprinkler System?

We have compiled all of our sprinkler expertise into an easy to understand Sprinkler 1-2-3 Tutorial. We strongly encourage our customers to go through the tutorial to gain a full understanding of their design because it benefits them when it comes time to installing the system. Every irrigation system is different and our tutorial gives you the tools to customize a system to your specific needs. 

 

Do I have to pay for your design help?

Absolutely not! We are here to help to you. During the busy season (March-August) our design team gets quite busy so we recommend reaching out to us in the off-season so we can spend as much time with you as necessary.

 

Can I come in and have an expert help me design my irrigation system?

Our design team works remotely by email and any in-store design work is by appointment only. If you are requesting assistance in the design process, please send us a drawing of your layout and provide us with as much detail about your property as possible. Do you service systems?

We pride ourselves on our comprehensive DIY Tutorials that give our customers the confidence and knowledge to install their own systems.  It also allows them to save on the expensive labour costs charged by professional contractors. 

 

Store Hours and Curbside

What are your Curbside Pickup Hours?

We prioritize our Curbside Pickup orders and strive to have them ready for the next business day. Our Curbside Pickup Hours are Mon-Thurs 9am-3pm and Fri 9am-1pm. Please wait for your completion notice before coming to the warehouse for pickup.

 

Can I come to your warehouse to purchase the items that I need?

As our location is a warehouse and not a retail store, we request that customers do not come to the warehouse to shop for their items. If you would like to pick up items at our warehouse, please place your order online and select "Curbside Pickup" as your delivery method. Once your order is complete and ready for pick up you will recieve an email notification with our pickup times and address.

 

Orders and Shipping Information

Is there extra shipping charges on large rolls of tubing even though your website states free shipping over $175? 

Unlike other companies, for large rolls of tubing there are NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES regardless of which region of Canada it is being shipped to.

 

I would like to add an item to an order that I have already placed, how do I do so?

If you would like to add an item to your previous order, select the items you would like to add and checkout as normal. Once you reach the delivery method page select "Addition to existing order" as your delivery method, then at the payment page please note in customer notes your previous order ID. Please note that we can only add to an existing order when the order is still in "process". If your order is completed it is too late.

When adding to an existing order, you cannot combine orders to eliminate the shipping costs on original orders.  

 

What methods of payment do you offer?

We currently accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

 

I have received a completion email for my order but have not received a tracking number, when will my order ship?

Our carriers automatically send you an email with your tracking number within 24 hours of your completion notice.

 

How long will it take to recieve my order?

**Please note that the estimated shipping time is based on once the order has be completed and handed over to the Carrier for delivery. The Carrier will send an email with your tracking number and an exact ETA within 24 hours of your completion notice. For enquiries about when your order will be shipped please email info@irrigationdirect.ca. If you need your shipment quicker please see the next FAQ.

Can I pay extra for overnight shipping?

If you are interested in expressing your shipment please write "Emailed about Expressed Shipping" in your customer notes and send us an email at info@irrigationdirect.ca referencing your order ID and we can go over the shipping costs together and if you wish to proceed, we will process the additional charges at that time. If you have a business shipping account that you would like us to use instead of our standard carriers, please send us an email referencing your order ID and include a note on your order. 

We're planning a vacation and need our order within 1 week.  Can you guarantee our order will arrive on time?

If your order is time sensitive, please leave a note in the customer notes area when checking out.  If we cannot accommodate your request we will let you know immediately.

 

What carriers do you ship with?

We choose our carriers based on the shortest lead times with economical pricing. We ship through Purolator, UPS, FedEx, Canpar, Canada Post, etc. If you have a preference on carrier, we can make the accomodations but there may be additional charges. Please include in the Customer Notes if you have any preference and send us an email with your Order ID. 

 

Do you ship to remote areas in Canada?

Yes, we will ship to every corner of Canada. 

 

Warranty and Returns

How do I make a Warranty Claim?

All warranties are offered by the manufacturers themselves and not us directly but we will assist you with the warranty claim. If you are having technical issues with a branded product (specifically controllers and solenoid valves) sold by us, we suggest you contact the manufacturer directly to resolve the issue prior to contacting us. What is your return policy?

We accept returns on all unused products. For more information regarding our return policy please check out our Shipping and Returns page.

Do you offer Wholesale Pricing?

Unlike most companies, we offer wholesale pricing to every single one of our customers. We have volume price breaks on most of our products to help our customers that need to create large systems a little bit of savings. 

 

Can you help me find the products that I can't find on your website?

We are happy to look into the pricing and availability on any product that we do not carry. Please note that special order items may be subject to longer wait times and are considered final sale. Please email us any information (pictures, SKUs, etc.) that you have to info@irrigationdirect.ca.

 

How do I winterize my irrigation system? 

Winterization of irrigation systems is the process of removing all water from the pipes to avoid freezing and the expansion of tubing that causes it to burst.
