Shipping and Handling Rates
Shipping is free on orders of $175 or more within Canada.
$175 and up Free
Remote Areas and Islands: Although we try our best to stand by our shipping polices, we may assess additional shipping charges on large tubing items to remote areas and islands.
PO Box's: Where shipping costs to PO boxes is prohibitive, we will require a physical address to ship to certain destinations.
Shipping Costs For Additions To Existing Orders: As a convenience to our customers IDC offers the ability to add forgoten items to existing orders. Shipping is not charged on additions to existing orders. However due to administrative costs, orders cannot be combined to eliminate existing shipping charges on original orders if charges were applied.
IF YOUR ORIGINAL ORDER HAS BEEN COMPLETED YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO USE THE ADDITION TO AN EXISTING ORDER OPTION.
We are not open on Saturday or Sunday. If you need to inquire about the status of your order please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org stating your order number. However if your order has been in process within our standard processing times, please refrain from doing so. We are very busy at this time of year and doing our best to get orders out as quickly as possible.
The following is a summary of our return policy:
30 Day Returns: Items returned within 30 days of receipt are eligible for a full refund (less a 15% re-stocking fee) provided items are returned in their original packaging, are unused, and free of any damage or mark of wear and tear. For special/custom orders a minimum 25% restocking fee will be applied plus any shipping costs associated with the order. For customer error, we do not refund return shipping cost, shipping costs charged on the original invoice, and will deduct any shipping costs incurred by us on orders originally qualifying for free shipping.
60 Day Returns: Items returned within 60 days of receipt are eligible for a full credit (less a 15% re-stocking fee) to be used on our site provided items are returned in their original packaging, are unused, and free of any damage or mark of wear and tear. We do not refund return shipping cost, shipping costs charged on the original invoice, and will deduct any shipping costs incurred by us on orders originally qualifying for free shipping.
A 25% re-stocking fee is also applied to any special order items cancelled prior to shipping.

If you wish to return an item that is not eligible for return please contact us via email and management will at times determine a re-stocking fee depending on the nature of the item and the circumstances pertaining to the order. A minimum re-stocking charge of 25% will apply to any items being returned under these circumstances.
For all orders pertaining to design services products returned will be automatically assessed a 25% re-stocking fee if returned within 30 days of receipt.
If you would like to return items, please contact us via email to ensure your products are eligible for return stating your original order number for reference. We will return your email within 1 business day regarding your case and provide you with consent for the return.

If we have shipped your order and it has yet to be received you must notify us within 90 days of the completion date of the order. We assume all packages have been delivered unless notified within this period, and cannot access tracking information after this time has expired.
Most products sold by Irrigation Direct Canada are covered by manufacturers warranty. If you are having technical issues with a branded product (specifically controllers and solenoid valves) sold by us, we suggest you contact the manufacturer directly to resolve the issue prior to contacting us.

If the product is found to be defective by the manufacturer and is under warranty we will send a replacement to you with a return address label to return the faulty product. Please make every effort to obtain a file/reference number from the manufacturer to substantiate your claim.
